ICE is expected starting tonight and continuing through mid-morning tomorrow. 0.2 to 0.3 inches of ice is expected. Winds are expected to gust to between 20 and 30 mph. This will be followed by about 12 hours of rain, ending with 3-6″ of snow. Total liquid content is one to two inches.
Because of the expected hazardous conditions from the ice, downed trees and power outages, the green box corral (dump) will be CLOSED WEDNESDAY 3/30.
Town road crews will be available if needed for emergencies overnight through noon tomorrow. After noon, crews will be out checking all town roadways for downed trees and water over the road. Please drive safely, avoid downed wires and trees and do not drive through any water over the road.
If significant power outages occur, the town hall may be opened for warming, recharging and showers. IF the hall is opened, a seperate notice / alert will be sent out detailing times and services.
