Thank You to everybody who attended the Doty Firefighters Picnic.  We also want to thank the businesses who donated various items for the picnic, the volunteers who helped and those who bought the items and raffle tickets.  A list of the lucky people who won the big raffle will be in the Beacon soon.  If you won a silent auction prize, please contact the town hall to arrange pick-up.  We have called the winners several times and some have not responded.

The town took pictures at the picnic.  Some will be posted on the website soon.  If you would like an electronic copy of a photo, please contact the town, describing the photo.  We have over 100 of them.

Next years picnic will be Saturday, July 15th 2023!

 

The Centennial Committee also wishes to thank the previous Town chairpeople or their decendants who were able to attend.  This made the firemans picnic special this year.  Centennial Bricks, T-shirts, coins and books are all still available (some shirt sizes have very limited quantities).  We are looking at options for shipping items if you are unable to pick items up at the town hall – more to come.

There will be a centennial drive-thru pig/beef roast Friday, September 2nd.  More info will be out soon.
