Spring weight restrictions go into effect for the town of Doty this Friday at 3:00 pm (March 5th) on all town roads.  County weight restrictions also go in effect at this time for posted county roads.  Town weight limits will remain in effect until the spring thaw is complete and roads can handle normal vehicle weights.  A permit is required (with certain exceptions listed on the Oconto County website) to exceed town weight limits.  Contact the town roads superintendent – John Vandenlangenberg at (715) 850-1775 for a permit to exceed weight limits on town roads.
