Emergency Alert 03-30-2025: ICE STORM WARNING through 7pm SUNDAY. Many poeple without power. Entire town was without power from 5 am to 11 am. Many other outages still exist. Tree branches are falling on roads and smaller trees are bent over roads causing low clearance. These bent trees are under a lot of pressure and are dangerous to cut. Road crews are going out at noon to remove downed trees and bent trees if they block the entire road. We will also note any structures that have been damaged to alert owners. The town is also evaluating the need to open the town hall MONDAY as a warming shelter. If we do so, we will inform people here and via Oconto County emergency management. Please stay off the roads today.
