Here you will find the Agendas & Minutes for the Land Use Planning Commission (LUPC) Meetings.
LUPC meetings are being scheduled quarterly at 10 am on the same Tuesday as the town board meeting, in the months of February, May, August and November. You must contact the Town Clerk by the first Tuesday of the month of the meeting to be included on the agenda. If you need an unscheduled meeting, extra fees apply. If no business is scheduled by the deadline, the LUPC will not meet.
Typical items needing LUPC approval include (but not limited to): Land subdivisions, zoning changes, conditional use permits, subdivision creation, naming roadways, variances for buildings and distances from lot lines.
When planning for a meeting with the LUPC, please have any necessary documents available to the clerk in advance to allow for copys and review. At a minimum, non-electronic documents should have 6 copies available. If the item is large format, exceptions can be made, but a minimum of 2 is necessary.
The LUPC will make a reccomendation on the request and forward it to the town board for consideration at their board meeting later that day. If it is a straight forward request, you are not required to be present at the board meeting. The board will make its recommendation to the county or other agency who has the final say in the matter.
Due to the nature of the LUPC meeting and need for clear documents, video conferencing is not available for LUPC meetings, but is available for town board meetings upon request.
