The waste / recycle  center (reffered to as the dump) is open on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.  Winter hours are 10 am to noon on Wednesdays and Saturdays and 1 - 4 pm on Sundays.  Summer hours are 9 to noon on Wednesdays and Saturdays and 1 - 4 pm on Sundays.  Winter hours are from December 1st through April 30th.

Waste disposal is for town residents and landowners only.  A sticker (available at the town office) is required for use of the dump.  A large 30 yd dumpster is available between Memorial day and Labor day for large items.  The dump is for the disposal of normal household waste and NOT commercial waste of building clean-outs.

In addition to the free collection of normal houshold waste, the town collects large items such as toilets, chairs, matresses and other large items for a fee.  Used electronics, batteries light bulbs are also collected.  Waste oil is collected free of charge (there is a fee for filters and rags) and scrap metals.  THe costs for most of these items is set by the county and the town actually loses money on collection.

Most construction debris will no longer be accepted.  Please see the fee schedule for pricing of acceptable materials.  Should you be planning a DIY remodel project, contact Supervisor Andy Dryja (715) 850-0550 to get town pricing for a dumpster delivered to your property.

If you have a power failure resulting in a refrigerator full of bad food or another emergency situation such as a flooded basement needing items taken care of to prevent a health and safety issue, the dump may be able to accept these items.  Please call ahead as we may be able to open the dump during other than scheduled times to accommodate this disaster material.

Please reserve the lane closest to the dumpsters for people needing help in unloading materials.  If you need assistance moving your material to the dumpsters, the attendant will gladly assist you.  If necessary, please tap your horn twice to get his attention.
